Grab All Files ("the Extension") is a browser extension that helps users find and download files from web pages. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.

1. Data We Collect

The Extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data, browsing history, or analytics. There are no tracking scripts, cookies, or third-party analytics services.

The only network requests the Extension makes are:

• License verification — When a license key is entered, it is sent to our server along with a randomly generated device identifier (UUID) to verify its validity and enforce device limits. No personal information, browsing data, or hardware fingerprints are included.
• File scanning & downloading — When you use the "Enter URL" feature, the Extension fetches web pages you specify to find downloadable files. These requests go directly to the target website; no data passes through our servers.

2. Data Stored Locally

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device using the browser's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session). This data never leaves your device.

3. Permissions

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Article 6)

For users in the EU/EEA, we process data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)) — License key verification and device ID processing are necessary to fulfill the license agreement.
• Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — Storing install date and scan history locally to provide core Extension functionality.

5. Third-Party Services and Data Transfers

The Extension communicates with a license verification server hosted on Supabase. The data sent consists of the license key and a randomly generated device identifier (UUID). No personal information is transmitted.

Supabase infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. Supabase relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights (EU/EEA Users)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — Request a copy of any data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — Request deletion of your data.
• Right to restriction of processing — Request that we limit how we use your data.
• Right to data portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to object — Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Right to lodge a complaint — File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Data Retention

License key and device ID records are retained for the duration of your license. If you request deletion, we will remove your records within 30 days. Local data is deleted when you uninstall the Extension.

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
